On March 23rd I had posted on both Facebook and Instagram that I was looking to connect with someone who would be willing to teach me how to process color film. Not surprisingly I was supported mostly from afar then from right here at home.
Luckily I am not one to give up on the things I would like to learn easily which led me to do it on my own.
I honestly thought it would have been more difficult than it was but in fact it is a pretty straight forward process. The worry of water temperature being just right was what had me nervous but I managed all right. I have read from a few articles on color processing that some use an Avona Precision Cooker in order to keep water temperature balanced. For what it does in general is pretty darn cool but for what it would be used for, (in the case of processing color film), I think it is a bit of a hefty price to pay. Mind you, if it works and makes things easier the price tag it holds may not look so bad after all.
Next step from here is processing a roll of film!
